The SC16 Conference invites writers, editors and industry analysts covering the fields of high-performance computing and networking to attend the Conference. SC16 will provide an unparalleled opportunity to meet and talk with the world’s leading experts in HPC, networking, storage and analysis. This section will be updated regularly, so please visit often for announcements and event activities. If you are not receiving the SC Newsletter, please sign up to be added to the mailing list.

- Monday, Nov 14th: 9am – 5pm
- Tuesday, Nov 15th: 8am – 5pm
- Wednesday, Nov 16th: 9am – 5pm
- Thursday, Nov 17th: 9am – 3pm
Light refreshments will be available on a daily basis. In addition, SC16 has a professional photographer covering the entire conference. Should you need a specific shot for an article (for instance Keynote photos), please do not hesitate to ask and we will do our best to accommodate. Please let us know if you have specific story or interview requests.

Press Interview Room
For our registered press, we will have an interview room available by reservation only. Reservations are limited to an hour at a time and up to 2 hours in a day. To make your reservation, send a request to media@info.supercomputing.org.
Joint Press Event & Luncheon: SC16 & TOP500
November 14th, 2016 – 12pm-1:30pm
Salt Palace Convention Center, Media Interview Room #151-F
Lunch served at 1pm
For the first time, SC will be holding a joint press event with the TOP500 organization.
Hear from SC16 General Chair John West from the Texas Advanced Computing Center, who will provide his vision behind the SC16 conference and exhibition as well as provide a high-level overview.
Then the TOP500 executives will release the latest list of the TOP500 world’s fastest supercomputers, a closely watched indicator of global competition in computing technology and the economic strength it enables. In the view of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness: “to out compute is to out compete.”
Recording and questions will be permitted.
