Evan Harvey

Biography
My name is Evan Harvey, I study Computer Science at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and
Technology as an undergraduate. I was born in the United States but have spent the majority of my life in Germany and the Netherlands. I was introduced to HPC last summer of 2015 in Los Alamos as an
intern in the Computer System, Cluster and Networking Summer institute. This internship led to an
opportunity to work on Libfabric with a research scientist from the Los Alamos National Laboratory
and a team from Cray. This past summer of 2016 I continued working on Libfabric as a Software
Engineering intern for Cray. After obtaining my Bachelors this December of 2016, I plan on attending a
masters program for Systems Engineering at Embry-Riddle in Florida starting August 2017.
