Aalap Tripathy is a Server Design Engineer in Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Houston, Texas. He has been involved in the design and bringup of HPEs Moonshot x86 and ARM servers in its Hyperscale Platform R&D team. He is also involved in the research and development of next-generation architectures, technology proof-of-concept demonstrations together with the Chief Technology Office. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a focus on "High Performance Information Filtering on Many-core Processors". He has authored and co-authored over fifteen technical papers and book chapters. His research interests include reconfigurable architectures, data intensive computing, and high performance computing for field programmable gate arrays.
