Akhil Langer
Biography
Akhil Langer is a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests are in various aspects of high performance computing including communication optimizations, power and energy optimizations, load balancing, distributed algorithms, adaptive run time systems, adaptive mesh refinement. He is a recipient of Kenichi Miura award for outstanding contributions to HPC as a graduate student. He has received best paper and best poster awards for his work in HPC. He is a Siebel Scholar, class of 2012, which is awarded annually for academic excellence and demonstrated leadership to 85 top students from the world’s leading graduate schools. He is also a recipient of President of India Gold Medal for highest CGPA amongst the entire batch at IIT Roorkee during his B.Tech. He has written several papers in the area of HPC in reputed conferences and journals.
