Alfredo Parra Hinojosa is a third year doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich, Chair of Scientific Computing. He currently works on fault-tolerant PDE solvers from an algorithmic point of view, developing resilient algorithms based on numerics. He is a researcher in the project "EXAHD", which is part of the initiative "SPPEXA (Software for Exascale Computing)" funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). His research interests also include low-rank tensor approximations, fractional calculus and random differential equations.
