Anna Maria Bailey

Biography
Anna Maria Bailey is LLNL’s HPC Facilities Operations Manager and is the co-chair of the Energy Efficient HPC Working Group (EEHPCWG). Anna Maria holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is registered with the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as an electrical engineer. She has nearly 30 years experience in multiple engineering roles at Lawrence Livermore, notably serving as the design and construction manager for LLNL’s HPC Center, which houses some of the world’s most powerful supercomputers. In addition, Anna Maria led the effort to earn LEED certification for two LLNL HPC facilities and is currently just completed overseeing the construction of a new unclassified HPC facility. As the co-lead of the EEHPCWG, she sets the vision to encourage implementation of energy conservation measures and energy efficient design in high performance computing (HPC).
