Ashish Jha
Biography
Ashish has 19 years of industry experience with over 15 years at Intel. As a HPC Performance Architect and Technical Lead, he is leading performance optimizations on HPC applications and compilers with focus on Many Core (Knights) and Big Cores (Xeons) CPU’s and driving micro-architecture and architecture improvements on future CPU’s. He worked on AVX2 and AVX512 ISA pathfinding and technical readiness driving HPC requirements, compiler support for exploiting these instructions and optimizations in HPC applications with first intercept on Knights Landing and Skylake CPU’s. With wide range of expertise covering broad domains (HPC, Enterprise and Client), he has extensive experience in pathfinding, performance analysis, optimizations, and enabling pre-Silicon, Power-On, post-Silicon spanning several IA generations covering Atom, Xeon and Xeon Phi processors driving improvements in their architectures. He has 22 patents filed. Prior to Intel, he was managing, leading and developing cutting edge state-of-the-art cloud based E-commerce software.
