Boyu Zhang
Biography
Dr. Boyu Zhang is a data scientist at Purdue University. She received her PhD and MS degrees in computer science from University of Delaware where she worked with Dr. Michela Taufer on distributed big data analytics on structural biology datasets including long RNA sequences, ligand docking datasets, and protein folding trajectories. Zhang’s research interests include scalable big data analytics, clustering and classification methods, performance analysis and optimization, and scientific applications. Zhang has been leading the effort of providing big data expertise to domain scientists at Purdue. Zhang is a professional member of ACM.
