Colin Morey is the Systems Architect for the Hartree Centre, part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in the UK. He is responsible for designing and developing new systems to support the wide range of work at the Hartree Centre. Prior to assuming his current role in 2015, Colin spent 14 years as a system administrator largely in ISP and academic HPC environments. Colin has been active in the Spectrum Scale/GPFS user group since its inception in 2010. His professional interests include security and information governance along with data storage and management.
