Daniel Hackenberg

Biography
Daniel Hackenberg is a research staff member at the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing in Dresden, Germany. He is leading efforts in energy efficiency analysis and optimization of HPC applications and the development of scalable fine-grained power monitoring infrastructures. His research interest also include the energy-efficient operation of air- and water-cooled data centers. From 2011 to 2015 he represented TU Dresden in the design and construction of its new 5MW data center and the installation of a warm-water cooled Petaflops Haswell cluster.
