David R. Glowacki

Biography
Dr. David Glowacki, M.A, PhD (www.glow-wacky.com) has appointments as a Royal Society Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, and as a visiting scholar at Stanford. He heads up an eclectic academic research group between the Centre for Computational Chemistry and the Department of Computer Science. He is a resident at Bristol’s Pervasive Media Studio (a digital research lab that brings together artists, engineers, and scientists), and also a founder and scientific consultant for a Bristol-based tech startup company called interactive Scientific.
Glowacki has over 50 publications in a wide range of domains, including molecular physics, classical & quantum dynamics, biochemistry, digital aesthetics, human-computer interaction, high-performance computing & algorithm development, evolutionary algorithms, and scientific instrument development. Since 2011, his multi-award winning interdisciplinary work at the frontiers of computational physics, high performance computing, and human-computer interaction has been experienced by well over 200,000 people across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
