Ellis Giles is a PhD Candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rice University. He received the 2013-2014 Ken Kennedy - Cray Graduate Fellowship. Prior to returning to graduate school, Ellis worked for NASA as a software engineer and solution architect. Mr. Giles received his undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering with honors from Rice University, where he received the REA Most Outstanding Undergraduate in CS Award. He is an Eagle Scout and enjoys volunteering, scuba diving, and working on automobiles.
