Gagan Gupta leads research efforts on chips for DNA storage and post-Moore’s law processor architectures at Microsoft Research. Gagan has held various leadership positions in engineering and marketing for over two decades in the microprocessor industry. He has architected and designed chips and high performance CMPs that have shipped in millions of path-breaking devices such as Silicon Graphics workstations, Sony Playstation, and Huawei routers. He has a Ph.D in computer sciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
