Herbert Huber
Biography
Herbert Huber obtained a PhD in physics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU) in 1998. He joined the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ) in 1997 and has been head of the “High-Performance Systems” division at LRZ since 2012. The main focus of his work and his research interests are energy-efficient high-performance computer infrastructures (processor and system architecture, interconnection network, file systems) and supercomputing centres.
