Jack Deslippe
Biography
Jack Deslippe is the acting lead for the application performance group at NERSC, a DOE HPC facility located at Lawrence Berkeley Lab. His team specializes in the optimization of scientific applications for the Cori Phase 2 system (Xeon-Phi) and future NERSC systems. Jack, a NERSC staff member since 2011, supports the material science applications and users and works both application performance as well as web based technologies (MyNERSC, NEWT) for HPC. He is one of the lead developers of the BerkeleyGW materials application as part of the DOE SCIDAC program.
