
Biography
Mariam is a PhD student in Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. She works under the supervision of Dr. Kirk Cameron. She graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2015. Her research interests include performance, power and energy models for current and future architectures. She has experience with analytical and statistical modeling techniques to describe systems' behavior and its validation with empirical studies. She is an active member of Association for Women in Computing at Virginia Tech.
