Matthew Leininger is the Deputy for Advanced Technology Projects in Livermore Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Matt currently leads the CTS-1 procurement for the U.S. Department of Energy NNSA laboratories and is involved in next generation systems research and procurements. His interests include high performance networking, commodity and advanced technology systems, and enabling predictive simulations. Matt holds a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry from the University of Georgia (1999) and B.A. in chemistry, physics, mathematics and philosophy (1995) from Augustana University.
