Nia Alexandrov
Biography
Nia Alexandrov is a HPC Professional Training and PG Studies Coordinator at BSC, Barcelona. She has over 11 years experience as PG Studies Coordinator at the School of Systems Engineering and ACET Centre at the University of Reading and at BSC. She teaches Research Skills and Implementation of Technologies. She has created the Transferable Skills subject modules for Computer Science students, she designed and implemented team assignments and projects in the areas of Network Computing and Computational Science. She was co-organizer of the Workshop: “Next Generation of e-Learning” at ICL Conference, 2005-2010. Her research is in collaborative work and e-learning. She is involved in curricula development, e-learning methodology and methodology for evaluation of on-line and blended learning courses on several EC e-learning projects developing novel pedagogical approaches for e-learning. Currently she is involved in PRACE, Severo Ochoa and is the coordinator of PRACE Advanced Training Centre at BSC.
