Becky is Managing Director of Interactive Scientific Limited, a Bristol-based startup company focussed on transformational products and services that enhance society and focus on the user. Their first product, the “Nano Simbox”, is aimed at scientific research and education. The aim of their products is to combine state-of-the-art computing and interaction to make the invisible visible, allowing researchers and educators to interact, simulate and experiment with atoms and molecules in a visual, stimulating and engaging way.

Becky has a PhD in Chemical Physics from Bristol University and training in acting and business. Since leaving Academia, Becky has worked at a range of institutions, including the UK Regional Development Agency (focussed on Innovation and Economic Development), and The Royal Society of Chemistry (focusing on science contributions to societal grand challenges like climate change). Prior to taking on the role at Interactive Scientific, Becky was a freelance business consultant who worked with technology-focussed organisations looking to bring new products and services to market, supporting them in areas from operations and project leadership to securing funding and developing business plans. Becky is passionate about ensuring that scientific research and education tools are fit to equip future generations to combat challenges and grasp opportunities for a healthy and thriving global society.
