Selim Ciraci
Biography
Selim Ciraci obtained his BSc degree from Department of Computer Science of Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2003 and, his MSc degree from the same university in 2005. His MSc thesis was on Peer-to-Peer computer networks. He obtained his PhD degree from Software Engineering Chair at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, in December 2009. His PhD research was on applying and developing model checking techniques for different software evolution problems. From 2011 – 2014, Selim worked at the Fundamental & Computer Sciences Directorate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratories. His research is focused on applying software engineering tools and methods to ease the development HPC software systems. Specifically, he has been working on parallelizing transformations and aspect-oriented development for HPC. Currently, he is working at Microsoft Corporation.
