Presenter

Sharma Thankachan is a research scientist in the School of Computational Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Aluru’s lab under the same department. He obtained his PhD from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in 2014. His bachelors is in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. His research is in the area of algorithms and data structures, primarily for processing string data with applications in Bioinformatics.
