Stephen Simms manages the High Performance File System group at Indiana University. He has pioneered the use of the Lustre file system across wide area networks and is currently involved in the development and testing of security code for Lustre. Simms has been an active participant in the worldwide Lustre community for 10 years and currently serves on the Open Scalable File Systems (OpenSFS) board of directors.
