Wade Doll

Biography
Wade Doll serves as a Principal Systems Infrastructure Architect responsible for defining the future architecture and being the technical lead on cooling, packaging, TCO, and power systems in Cray’s Advanced Technology business unit. Mr. Doll, who joined Cray in 1999, has been the incubator and innovator behind the highly successful and cutting edge infrastructures of the XT/XE/XK/XC supercomputers as well as custom engineering projects focusing around energy efficiency and solving cooling challenges thought to be beyond traditional capabilities. He holds fifteen (15) US and international patents related to cooling, acoustics, turbo machinery and interconnect systems. He is an active participant in several industry work groups including The Green Grid, ASHRAE, OpenCompute, and EEHPC. Mr. Doll is recognized throughout the industry as an innovator and expert in the electronics cooling and packaging field.
