Wei Xue

Biography
Wei Xue received the B.E. and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2003. He also received a second B.E. degree in environmental engineering from Tsinghua University in 1998. He is currently an associate professor at Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University and a joint associate professor at Center for Earth System Science of Tsinghua University. He has authored/coauthored 3 books and over 50 publications in the fields of scientific computing, network storage and climate modeling. His current research interests are scientific computing and uncertainty quantification for climate modeling. He is a senior member of CCF and a member of ACM and IEEE.
