William C. Agnew

Biography
William is an undergraduate at Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Discrete Math and Physics. He conducts research in big data, machine learning, systems, and information security, and has produced four publications about and won several grants and awards for his research. In addition, he is interested in theoretical computer science, cryptography, quantum computing, distributed systems, information theory, and almost all other areas of computer science. He has pursued this interest in many advanced or graduate level courses. William also runs Georgia Tech's theoretical computer science club, helping undergraduates develop a passion for theoretical computer science and find and succeed in research through weekly professor and student talks. After William graduates Fall 2016, he plans to pursue a PhD in computer science at a top graduate school.
