Xuebin Chi is a professor and a deputy director of the Computer Network Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from the Computing Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989. He was promoted to full professor in 1997 at the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has edited 2 international conference proceedings and written 3 books, and published over 100 papers in HPC area. He has been awarded several times with Science and Technology Progress Prize of State and Beijing government as well as Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include HPC algorithm, software, and grid computing.
